10 Questions with Raoul Vitale
1.... who are your favorite artists?
All of the 19th century artists and just about everything I see coming from my peers is usually pretty nice. I love Matt Stewart, Filip Burburan, Tom Kuebler, Marc Poole, Sam Weber, Lars Grant-West, . . . the list is too long!
2.... do you offer workshops for artists?
Unfortunately, no. Since I've not been schooled, I don't know how to school others.
3.... what helps boost your creativity?
The need for sausage!
4.... what medium and tools do you use to create art?
Mainly oils and graphite. I don't do digital art.
5.... what helps you maintain focus and motivation when creating?

It's the only way you'll produce anything worthwhile.
7.... what is the secret to creating a great piece of art?
I'll let you know when I create one! The secret? Pour everything you've got into it.

9.... was there a certain moment that you knew you wanted to be an artist?
When I was about 3 years old!
10.... if you could give other artists one piece of advice what would it be?
Don't be afraid of your mistakes. It's the best way to learn and not repeat them. Really study nature and all the art that your eyes can take in.
